Do you remember the time when one had to pay to get a connection to Internet from their hotel while on a business trip? Looks like the golden days of this system are gone...
Free-hotspot, a society that claims being the world’s largest provider of free Wi-Fi HotSpots, announced that their network quadrupled in size during 2007, from 600 to 2400 HotSpots located in 18 countries across Europe. They also extend their network in hotels, claining more than 1200 hotels equiped across Europe. According to their forecasts, they should double the size of their network this year. And the hotel industry seems to have indentified this trend - see this post on 4hoteliers.com.

So, will this be the end of the dodgy, expensive and terribly slow connection that we were used to when on a business trip?
